Realme is gearing up to expand its smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the Realme 16 Pro series. Scheduled to debut, the new lineup will include the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G and the Realme 16 Pro 5G. Ahead of the official unveiling, the company has revealed several key specifications and features of the Realme 16 Pro 5G, offering a clearer picture of what consumers can expect from the upcoming device.

The Realme 16 Pro series will be launched in India on January 6, 2026. Both smartphones in the lineup will be available for purchase via an e-commerce platform as well as the company's official website. With this launch, Realme aims to strengthen its presence in the competitive mid-to-premium smartphone segment.

Realme 16 Pro 5G Chipset and Performance
Realme has confirmed that the Realme 16 Pro 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max 5G chipset, part of the Dimensity 7000 series. According to the company, the device has achieved an impressive AnTuTu benchmark score of over 9,70,000 points, highlighting its strong performance capabilities.
To ensure sustained performance during intensive usage, the smartphone will feature an AirFlow vapour chamber (VC) cooling system. The handset will run on Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 out of the box.
Realme 16 Pro: Battery, Charging and Power Management Features
One of the standout features of the Realme 16 Pro 5G is its massive 7,000mAh Titan Battery. Realme has paired this large battery with an AI Long-life Battery Chip to enhance efficiency and longevity. The smartphone will also support Super Power Saving Mode and Bypass Charging, which are designed to optimise battery usage and reduce heat generation during prolonged charging sessions.
Realme 16 Pro Display and AI Capabilities
The Realme 16 Pro 5G will sport an AMOLED display offering a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The panel is claimed to deliver up to 6,500 nits of peak brightness and support 1.07 billion colours, promising a vibrant and smooth visual experience. Additionally, the device will come equipped with Realme's Next AI tools, further enhancing user experience through AI-powered features.
Realme 16 Pro Design, Colours and Collaboration
For the design of the Realme 16 Pro series, the company has collaborated with renowned Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. The lineup will feature a new 'Urban Wild' design language. In India, the smartphones will be available in Master Gold and Master Grey colour options, along with two India-exclusive shades-Camellia Pink and Orchid Purple.
With a powerful MediaTek chipset, a large 7,000mAh battery, a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display and a premium design backed by a global designer collaboration, the Realme 16 Pro series appears positioned to attract users looking for performance-driven smartphones with a premium aesthetic.
