Rekha Jhunjhunwala Stock Hit New 52W High On Bulk Deal Buzz: Do You Own?

Small-cap firm DB Realty operates in the consumer discretionary industry. DB Realty's share price began with an upside gap in the early morning session and later reached a new 52-week high of Rs 141.81 per share on the BSE. DB Realty Bulk Deals

Through open market transactions, Authum Investment and Infrastructure Ltd. acquired a 1.9% stake in property developer DB Realty on Thursday for Rs. 100 crore. According to the BSE and NSE's bulk deal data, Authum Investment and Infrastructure bought 40 lakh shares on each exchange in four tranches, resulting in a 1.9% stake in DB Realty.

The shares were purchased on the NSE and BSE for between Rs 123 and 127 each, bringing the total transaction value to Rs 100 crore. A total of 80 lakh shares of DB Realty were sold by two people, Abhay Shyamsunder Chandak and Aditya S Chandak, at the same price on the NSE and BSE. DB Realty shares soared 11.84 percent to end at Rs 135.10 per share on the NSE and jumped 11.11 percent to close at Rs 134.45 per share on the BSE on Thursday as a result of bulk deal transactions.

The stock price climbed from Rs 28.95 to the current market price during the past five years, resulting in a multibagger return of 361.14%. The stock price soared from Rs 7.45 to the current market price over the past three years, producing a multibagger return of 1,772.92%. The stock price jumped from Rs 57.15 to the current market price during the course of the past year, resulting in a multibagger return of 133.60%. The stock has surged 43.01% YTD so far in 2023. While writing this copy the shares of DB Realty were trading at Rs 134.52 on the BSE with an upside gap of 0.05% over the previous close of Rs 134.45.

During Q2FY24, the company recorded promoter shareholding of 64.01%, FIIs stake of 1.85%, DIIs stake of 0.05% and public stake of 34.08%. As per the shareholding pattern of DB Realty available on BSE, Rekha Jhunjhunwala held 50 lakh shares or 1.21% fully paid-up equity stake in the company during April to June 2023 quarter.
