Reliance Jio has unveiled a new service WhatsApp bot which enables the company's subscriber base to recharge their mobile as well as avail various other services such as getting a new Jio SIM issued or porting any other SIM to Jio.

How Reliance Jio subscribers can access WhatsApp bot and recharge their mobile phones?

For accessing this feature or WhatsApp bot on Jio number, customers need to save 70 00 77 0007 on their mobile phones and send a 'Hi' to this number. Thereupon, the WhatsApp bot will list out the various services on offer, including Jio SIM recharge facility, new Jio SIM or port-in to a new connection via MNP, support for Jio SIM, Jio Fiber, international roaming and JioMart.

Currently the service is available only in English and Hindi and more languages shall likely be added in due course.

Now after you choose Jio SIM recharge option, user will be taken to the screen which displays all the available recharge plans. For the recharge, user has the choice to make the payment via any of the available modes including debit/credit cards, UPI, e-wallets etc.
