Portuguese superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has officially extended his contract with Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr for two more years, ending weeks of speculation about his future. The club confirmed the news alongside a cinematic teaser, featuring Ronaldo striding along a sun-drenched beachfront and declaring, "Al Nassr forever," underscoring his renewed dedication to the Saudi giants.
Cristiano Ronaldo's Record-Breaking Signing-On Fee: Rs 260 Crore in First Year
According to the report of The Sun, Ronaldo will receive a substantial £24.5 million (approximately Rs 260 crore) signing-on fee, which will grow to £38 million (about Rs 403 crore) if he participates in the second year of his contract.

Around Rs 1,887 Crore Salary: Cristiano Ronaldo's Salary at Al Nassr
The GOAT Cristiano Ronaldo's annual base salary is similarly staggering £178 million per annum, that is approximately Rs 1,887 crore and equivalent to roughly £488,000 per day (Rs 5.17 crore daily).
Ronaldo's Performance Bonuses Earnings Beyond Rs 5,300 Crore?
On top of this, Ronaldo stands to earn even more through performance-linked bonuses, £4 million (Rs 42 crore) for winning the Golden Boot and an additional £8 million (Rs 85 crore) if Al Nassr secure the Saudi Pro League title taking his total potential earnings over £500 million.
Further sweetening the deal, Ronaldo has reportedly been granted a 15% ownership stake in the club, valued at approximately £33 million (around Rs 350 crore). Since his arrival at Al Nassr in late 2022 from Manchester United, he has maintained his position as the world's highest-paid athlete, a title upheld by Forbes annually over the past three years.
Despite these unprecedented personal rewards, Ronaldo's tenure with the club has produced mixed results on the pitch. The Arab Club Champions Cup in 2023 remains the only major silverware secured during his time in Saudi Arabia, highlighting a possible area for future success alignment with his enduring commitment.
Cristiano Ronaldo's extended contract with Al Nassr could earn him over Rs 5,300 crore when all components are considered. His base salary alone is £178 million per year (approx. Rs 1,887 crore), which totals to Rs 3,773 crore over two years. On top of that, he receives a signing-on fee of up to £38 million (approx. Rs 403 crore) and performance-based bonuses £4 million for the Golden Boot and £8 million if Al Nassr wins the Saudi Pro League adding another Rs 127 crore. Additionally, Ronaldo has been granted a 15% ownership stake in Al Nassr, valued at £33 million (about Rs 350 crore).
These direct earnings bring his total to approximately Rs 4,654 crore. However, reports estimating Rs 5,300+ crore include other potential income sources such as endorsements, commercial deals, image rights, brand partnerships, and appearance fees, particularly those tied to Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiatives.
World's Highest-Paid Athlete: What Is Cristiano Ronaldo's Net Worth?
As of May 15, 2025, Cristiano Ronaldo has been ranked once again by Forbes as the world's highest-paid athlete, with total earnings estimated at $275 million (Rs 2,282.5 crore approximately) for the year. The Portuguese football icon, currently playing for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, continues to dominate the financial side of global sports, thanks to his massive on-field salary, performance bonuses, and a wide array of endorsement deals.
