Rudra Global Infra is advancing its renewable energy initiatives in Gujarat, focusing on projects for its own use. A bank has sanctioned about 75% of the funding for this project, according to a recent exchange filing.

The company is also exploring solar and other renewable energy projects, aiming for a total capacity of 25–30 megawatts. The wind turbine installation is on track and expected to be operational by December 2025, generating around 1.1 crore units of electricity annually.

Renewable Energy Expansion

This new wind turbine will be the fourth for Rudra Global Infra, increasing its renewable energy capacity to 8 megawatts. This expanded capacity is anticipated to produce approximately 1.7 crore units of power each year. The company emphasises its dedication to maximising renewable energy usage.

Rudra Global Infra Products Ltd, formerly known as MDICL, specialises in manufacturing thermo-mechanically treated bars and mild steel billets. The total cost for the Gujarat project stands at Rs 32.28 crore.

The company's commitment to renewable energy reflects a broader strategy to enhance sustainability and reduce reliance on non-renewable sources. By investing in both wind and solar power, Rudra Global Infra aims to significantly boost its clean energy output.
