As investor sentiment improved, indices saw a comeback in Monday's session after having lost almost 2000 points on the Sensex in the previous day's session. At the close, Sensex settled higher by 750 point at 49850, while Nifty was up 252 pts to 14781.
Nifty Media has been the outlier in trade today, with massive gains on the TV Broadcast 18, Zee Limited, Hathaway, Jagran Prakashan, Sun TV among others.

Another pack surging again in trade has been fertilizer stocks with gains of up to 20% in stocks like RCF, National Fertilizers, Deepak Fertilisers among others.
Meanwhile, auto sales number have also come in good, with Maruti recording 11% m-o-m jump in sales.
European stocks at the time of writing this report was up 1.92% on the FTSE. Indices across the globe have rallied as bond markets eased.
