Sensex, Nifty Open With Marginal Gain In Morning Trade

The 30-share BSE Sensex opened with marginal gain of 93.13 points to 59,926.10 and NSE Nifty opened with surge of 35.75 points to 17,634.90 in opening trade. Nifty Bank rallied by 75.15 points to 41,116.15 while Nifty Midcap surged 102.05 points to 30,455.85 in early trade at 9:14 am on April 10, 2023.

Tata Motors share gained 3.29% in early trade and figured in Nifty top gainers. Shares of Adani Enterprises and Dr Reddys Laboratories Ltd witnessed marginal gain of less than 1%.

Meanwhile, Asian stock rallied higher as Dollar began the week on the front foot after the US jobs data highlighted a tight labour market, boosting expectations that the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates yet again in its meeting that will take place next month. Japan's Nikkei gained 0.44% while China's Shanghai surged 0.06%. Honk Kong's Seng jumped 0.28% and Korea's Kospi advanced 1.11%.
