Indian indices in today's trade gained significantly by an over 750 points on the Sensex to 49374 and hit over 14500 on the Nifty. The stocks that lifted the sentiment include financials and RIL. Broader markets outperformed the headline indices with gains of over 2%. Nifty Realty was the star sectoral perfomer with gains of over 4%.

Top gainers on the Nifty in today's trade include Bajaj twins, Tata Motors, Grasim and HDFC, while losers include Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Britannia and ITC.
L&T Technology shares ahead of its Q3FY21 results gained over 10 percent and in 3 months time have gained as much as 50 percent.
Also, auto pack saw resilience after the companies raised prices in order to mitigate input cost which has been seen increasing.
Much of the gains today's are to do with firmness in Asian markets. Also, European indices started on a firm note with all the indices trading in the green. US stock futures also point to a higher opening with gains of 0.89 percent on the Nasdaq at the time of writing this copy.
