Stock Market Live Updates: Gift Nifty has indicated a muted start of the Indian stock market on Monday, June 2. The indication has come after the Indian stock market witnessed a highly volatile session last week amid developments around Trump tariff announcements.

The Indian stock market is also likely to react on healthy Q4 GDP data released on Friday which indicated that Indian economy grew at an above than expected rate in the March quarter.

Nifty 50 on Friday fell marginally and closed at 24,751, amid cautious global cues and broad-based sectoral weakness. The broader markets were all weak, with both Nifty Midcap100 and Smallcap100 marginally down by 0.1% each, as selling pressure was seen across IT, Metal, and Auto sectors.
