Stock Markets End Flat Amid Volatility, Sensex Closes At 57,107 Points

Indian stock markets closed flat today, amid global volatility. Sensex closed at 57,107.52 points, falling by 37.70 points, while Nifty fell to 17,007.40 points, falling by 8.90 points. The US stock markets are trading lower today, reflecting the same trend in India. S&P 500 stood at 3,655.04 points, down by 1.03%, and Nasdaq Composite stood at 10,802.92 points, down by 0.60%.

However, in the Asian markets, Nikkei stood at 26,571.87 points up by 0.53%, and Hang Seng Index stood at 17,860.31 points gaining marginally. The US Dollar index cooled down today to 113.69.

Major indexes like Nifty private bank down by 0.40%, Nifty PSU Bank down by 0.21%, and Nifty energy has also been dragged down.

Fresh 52-week high and low stocks

The top 5 stocks to reach 52-week high level on NSE in intra day trading are Liberty Shoes Limited, Regency Ceramics Limited, Cipla Limited, Metro Brands Limited, Mask Investments Limited. On the other hand, Dhampur Bio Organics Limited, Kaveri Seed Company Limited, Glenmark Life Sciences Limited, Samvardhana Motherson International Limited, Aurobindo Pharma Limited hit fresh 52-week low-level today.

The top Nifty gainers are Cipla, Tata Consumer, Shree Cement, Power Grid, BPCL, Infosys, Wipro, etc., while Tata Steel, Adani Ports, Titan, SBI Life, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Maruti, Coal India were the top losers today.
