Sundaram Home Finance reported a 20% increase in net profit to Rs 75.14 crore for Q3 2025, with significant growth in disbursements and assets under management.
Sundaram Home Finance announced a 20% rise in net profit, reaching Rs 75.14 crore for the October-December 2025 quarter. This is an increase from Rs 62.56 crore in the same period last year. The company's disbursements during this quarter increased to Rs 1,740.79 crore, up from Rs 1,691.86 crore in the previous year.

Assets under management (AUM) saw an 18% growth, reaching Rs 18,880 crore by December 31, 2025, compared to Rs 15,958 crore on the same date in 2024. Disbursements in the Emerging Business (EB) segment more than doubled to Rs 165 crore during the quarter, compared to Rs 62 crore in the third quarter of the previous financial year.
Growth in Emerging Business Segment
For the nine months ending December 31, 2025, Sundaram Home Finance's net profit increased by 23% to Rs 212 crore from Rs 173 crore in the same period last year. Disbursements for this period rose to Rs 4,911 crore from Rs 4,588 crore a year earlier. The EB segment has been a significant growth driver, with disbursements tripling to Rs 394 crore during these nine months.
Managing Director D Lakshminarayanan highlighted the company's focus on its core home finance business while expanding its reach in the EB segment. "While maintaining a sharp focus on the prime home finance business, we continued to expand our presence in the Emerging Business segment and opened 15 branches during the quarter," he stated.
Future Expansion Plans
Lakshminarayanan also discussed future plans, stating that Sundaram Home Finance aims to strengthen its prime home finance operations beyond metropolitan areas while scaling up EB activities. "There is strong growth momentum in the Emerging Business segment, with significant untapped potential in smaller towns, and we will continue to expand our branch presence," he said.
The company is optimistic about achieving a milestone of establishing 100 branches and reaching Rs 500 crore in disbursements within the EB segment by year's end. "We are confident of reaching the milestone of 100 branches and Rs 500 crore in disbursements in the Emerging Business segment by the end of this year," Lakshminarayanan added.
