The road stretch from Janpath T-junction to Motera Stadium Main Gate via Krupa Residency T-junction up to Motera Gam T-junction will remain closed to vehicle traffic in both directions during the match. Motorists have been advised to avoid this route and take alternate roads to prevent congestion in the stadium vicinity.
Alternative Routes and Diversions Around Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad
Vehicles travelling from Tapovan Circle toward ONGC Crossroads via Janpath T-junction are advised to use internal roads before the restriction point and follow the diversion routes suggested by traffic authorities.
Similarly, vehicles approaching Krupa Residency T-junction should take the left connector road and continue along the designated diversion path.

These traffic restrictions will remain in force from 10:00 AM on March 8 until midnight, and will continue from 12:00 AM to 2:00 AM on March 9 to manage post-match traffic.

For fans planning to travel via public transport, the Ahmedabad Metro offers a convenient option. The nearest station to Narendra Modi Stadium is Sabarmati Metro Station, located about 0.66 kilometres away, which is roughly a seven-minute walk from the stadium.
Also commuters can take the Red Line directly to Motera Stadium Metro Station, which lies within walking distance of the stadium entrance.
Metro trains operate at frequent intervals, and on match days, services are typically extended until around 12:30 AM to accommodate the large number of spectators attending the final.
