Tata Investment Share Price Today: The market is buzzing with developments around Tata Group stocks. As primary market investors are closely tracking the Tata Capital IPO, another Tata group affiliate, Tata Investment Corporation Limited, is doing wonders on Nifty and Sensex. The stock touched a fresh 52-week high mark for the second consecutive day on Wednesday, 1 October ahead of the stock split record date.
Tata Investment shares were trading 1.52% higher at Rs 10,562 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 53,438.75 crore at 1:20 pm. The stock created another record as it touched its 52-week high mark of Rs 10,963.35 per share today. The Tata Group stock's valuation has increased nearly 50% in one month.

Tata Investment Stock Split
In August, Tata Investment Corporation's board of directors had approved a stock split in the ratio of 1:10. The company's board of directors had approved "Sub-division of the existing 1 (one) equity share of the Company having face value of Rs. 10/- (Rupees Ten only) each fully paid-up, into 10 (Ten) equity shares having face value of Rs. 1/- (Rupee One only) each, fully paid-up."
The company has fixed Tuesday, October 14, as the stock split record date. Hence, investors owning the shares on or before the stock split record date are eligible for the corporate action. The company has planned to execute a stock split to "enhance the liquidity of the Company's equity shares and to encourage participation of retail investors by making equity shares of the Company more affordable.
Tata Investment Share Price Technical Analysis
Tata Investment's share price has been rallying over the past few months. The stock's valuation has surged by 53.6% since the beginning of the year 2025 ( year to date). The stock started its downfall from Rs 9,705 in March 2024, and it made a low of Rs 5,147 in February 2025.
"The Stock took support of the averages and bounced back. Recently stock attracted buying and made a high of 8250, breaking out from a symmetrical pattern backed by above-average volume support. The breakout has happened after a long consolidation phase from April 2024 to August 2025," noted Ventura in its report on September 23.
The brokerage has fixed a target of Rs 12,000 based on its technical analysis. "Target of 12000 is expected & further addition is suggested at lower support levels at (7575-7150) in case of intermediate fall. A stoploss in the trade should be kept at 6775. The 200 SMA is in rising mode at 4125," added the brokerage in its report.
Tata Capital IPO
Tata Capital, a financial services arm of the Tata Group, is preparing to launch its initial public offering (IPO) on October 6, 2025. This IPO, valued at Rs 15,512 crore, is set to be the largest ever by a non-banking financial company (NBFC). The announcement regarding this significant financial event was made on September 29.
The upcoming IPO represents a major step for Tata Capital and the Tata Group as a whole. It underscores their commitment to expanding their financial services footprint. The timing of the IPO, just before Diwali, suggests strategic planning to attract investors during a festive period known for increased economic activity.
