As per the leading dailies report, TCS- the country's largest software firm has deferred the performance-linked variable pay for C3A, C3B, C4, and equivalent grades by around a month. Employees following in these grades serve the company in the position of Assistant consultants, associate consultants, and consultants. The due amount which was supposed to be released in July will likely be paid this time by August end, mentions the report that cites the internal mail by the Tata group software company.

Upon confirming from the HR, the company's employee initially got the reply that the organisation is not able to decide or arrive on the amount and hence the delay.
The report though did not cited any particular reasons for the delay but said that TCS claims that all its bonus and compensation cycle are according to the company's plan.
TCS, at the end of June, had an employee strength of around 6,06,300 employees.
