Wipro Sets Record Date For Buyback Of Shares: According to the BSE filing of the company, "Pursuant to regulation 42 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, regulation 9(i) of SEBI (Buy-Back of Securities) Regulations, 2018 and Clause 204.21 of the NYSE Listed Company Manual, the Company has fixed Friday, June 16, 2023 as the Record Date for the purpose of determining the entitlement and the names of equity shareholders who are eligible to participate in the buyback."

Earlier, shareholders of the Company approving the proposal to buyback up to 26,96,62,921 (Twenty Six Crore Ninety Six Lakh Sixty Two Thousand Nine Hundred and Twenty One only) fully paid-up equity shares of the Company of face value of Rs. 2/- (Rupees Two only), for an aggregate amount not exceeding Rs. 120,00,00,00,000/- (Rupees Twelve Thousand Crores only), each at a price of Rs. 445/- (Rupees Four Hundred and Forty-Five only) per equity share on a proportionate basis through the tender offer process.
The buyback share price of Rs 445 will arrive at a premium of 10% if today's last trading price of Rs 404.80 is taken into consideration.
