The Nifty 50 continued its dance within a 200-point range, testing the resilience of bulls as the index failed to sustain above the 19,800 mark. However, market watchers find solace in two positive aspects: the index, though not breaching 19,800, shows resistance against capitulation, and Tuesday's session marked a break in the three-day streak of higher lows on the daily chart.
As the market awaits crucial cues, an IPO rush is set to dominate Wednesday's trading with four notable offerings: Tata Technologies, Gandhar Oil Refinery, Flair Writing Industries, and Fedbank Financial Services. Adding to the excitement, IREDA's subscription is already open, promising a dynamic mid-week trading session.

In a noteworthy development, the Nifty Bank closed above the 43,600 mark for the first time post-November 13, driven by gains in the financial services index. Wednesday brings the expiry for Nifty Bank weekly contracts, setting the stage for potential market movements.
Turning to the futures and options segment, Nifty 50's November futures show resilience, adding 0.6% in Open Interest at a premium of 57.9 points. Conversely, Nifty Bank's November futures shed 8.8% and 1.92 lakh shares in Open Interest. The Put-Call Ratio for Nifty 50 shifted to 1.02 from 1.91.
Several stocks, including BHEL, Indiabulls Housing Finance, NMDC, RBL Bank, Zee Entertainment, Delta Corp, Hindustan Copper, MCX, Chambal Fertilisers, Manappuram Finance, and India Cements, continue to remain in the F&O ban list.
As Thursday's expiry approaches, the Nifty 50 call strikes of 19,850 and 19,900 witness Open Interest addition, while the 19,700 and 19,750 strikes see Open Interest shedding. On the put side, strikes between 19,700 and 19,800 witness Open Interest addition, with the 19,800 strike leading in this regard.
As investors prepare for Wednesday's trading, several stocks grab attention:
Reliance Industries CMD Mukesh Ambani announces plans to invest Rs 20,000 crore in West Bengal over the next three years and explores the establishment of a compressed biogas plant in the state.
Texmaco Rail launches a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) issue to raise Rs 750 crore, including a green shoe option of Rs 200 crore for capex, debt repayment, and working capital.
Adani Enterprises' defence arm signs a pact with Elbit Systems, Israel, with Elbit Systems subscribing to a 44% stake in Atharva Advanced Systems.
BPCL to consider interim dividend at its board meeting on November 29.
Wipro collaborates with NVIDIA to offer Generative AI to healthcare insurance companies.
TCS faces a setback as the US Supreme Court rejects its petition, requiring the company to pay a punitive damages award of $140 million, impacting the Q3 balance sheet.
Maruti Suzuki Board meeting on November 25 to consider the allotment of shares to Suzuki Motor Corporation on a preferential basis.
Jio Financial Services submitted an application to the Reserve Bank of India for the conversion of the company from an NBFC to a Core Investment Company (CIC).
Shifting our focus to global cues, Asian markets open mostly lower following the US Federal Reserve's October meeting minutes, revealing a reluctance for rate cuts. The Kospi in South Korea and the Kosdaq are down, while the Nikkei 225 and Topix in Japan show mixed trends. Futures on the Hang Seng indicate potential volatility.
On Wall Street, benchmark indices snapped a five-day winning streak post the Fed minutes, with the Dow Jones and S&P 500 both falling 0.2% and the Nasdaq declining 0.6%. The global market remains on edge as investors grapple with the impact of central bank decisions on future economic recovery.
As the mid-week trading session unfolds, investors brace for a dynamic market influenced by IPO fervour, index movements, and global uncertainties.
