UAE Gold Prices, Nov 4: Sharp Jump In Yellow Metal Prices After Falling From Record High

Gold prices in UAE witnessed jump on November 4, 2024 as investors are geared up for crucial week for the world economy ahead of the US presidential elections and strong prospects of yet another rate cut by Federal Reserve. US gold futures and gold prices in India remained steady on Monday.

In Indian currency, 22k gold prices in Dubai surged by Rs 2,174 to Rs 70,156/10 grams and 100 grams of 22 carat precious metal prices today jumped by Rs 21,745 to Rs 7,01,563. 24k gold prices in Dubai today rallied by Rs 2346 to Rs 75,764/10 grams and 100 grams of 24 carat precious metal prices today rose by Rs 23,461 to Rs 7,57,642. 18k gold prices in Dubai today soared by Rs 2633 to Rs 58,254 and 100 grams of 18 carat precious metal prices surged by Rs 26,323 to Rs 5,82,538 on Monday.

Gold Prices Dubai Vs Gold Price India: Gold prices in Dubai jumped today but in India, yellow metal stayed steady. Gold prices in India today remained steady after falling for 2 consecutive days. 22k gold prices in India today stood at Rs 73,700/10 grams, 24k gold prices in India today are retailing at Rs 80,400/10 grams, 18k gold prices today remained unchanged at Rs 60,300/10 grams.

1 gram gold rate today for 22k jumped by Rs 218 to Rs 7,016 in Dubai and 1 gram gold rate today for 24k stood at Rs 7576 after gain of Rs 234. 1 gram gold price today for 18 carat gold rallied by Rs 263 to Rs 5825.

Silver Prices Today In India: Silver price in India today stayed steady. 1 kg silver prices today in India stood at Rs 97,000. 100 grams silver prices are retailing at Rs 9,700 as prices remained unchanged today.

Spot Gold, Spot Silver Prices Today: Spot gold edged up by 0.2% to $2,741.63 per ounce, as of 0523 GMT. Bullion hit a record high of $2,790.15 on Thursday. Spot silver jumped 0.7% to $32.66 per ounce. It touched a more than 2-week low earlier in the session. Platinum rallied 0.7% to $998.90 and palladium zoomed 1.5% to $1,113.68, according to Reuters.

According to Reuters, uncertainty this week could benefit gold, as delays in the election outcome or a split control of the House and Senate might drive safe-haven flows, pushing gold prices higher, said Tim Waterer, chief market analyst at KCM Trade.

"The U.S. dollar has lost some traction to start the week, which has left the door open for gold to grind higher," Waterer said.
