Upcoming Dividend: Grindwell Norton Limited shares remained in demand on Monday as they are set to trade ex-dividend on July 15. The Saint Gobain Group's company had announced a 350% dividend for its eligible shareholders for financial year 2024-25.
Grindwell Norton shares ended 1.49% higher at Rs 1732.3 per share on BSE on Monday with a market capitalisation of Rs 19,180.03 crore. The stock had touched an intraday high mark of Rs 1740 per share and an intraday low mark of Rs 1712.45 per share.

The company had announced a 350% final dividend for its shareholders earlier in May and had fixed record date for July.

"The Board of Directors have recommended a dividend of ₹17/- per equity share (340%) of ₹5/- each for the financial year ended March 31, 2025, subject to the approval of the Members at the ensuing Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Company to be held on Friday, July 25, 2025," read a BSE filing by the company dated 9 May.
Grindwell Norton Dividend Record Date: Who Will Get The Payout?
To become eligible for Grindwell Norton payout, it is important for investors to purchase the company scrip on or before the record date, ie July 15. Hence, investors can purchase the company shares till Tuesday if they wish to enjoy the dividend payout.
As per the company press release, dividend will be distributed among "all Beneficial Owners in respect of shares held in dematerialised form as per the data as may be made available by the National Securities Depository Limited ("NSDL") and Central Depository Service (India) Limited ("CDSL") as of the close of business hours on Tuesday, July 15, 2025."
Additionally, those investors will also be eligible for payout who will have shares held in phyical form after giving effect to valid transmission or transposition requests lodged with the Company as of the close of business hours on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

In addition to producing silicon carbide, high-performance refractories, and performance plastics, GNO is one of India's top producers of abrasives. In India, Grindwell Norton Ltd. (GNO) was the first company to manufacture grinding wheels.

The company scrip ended higher at Rs 1732.3 per share on BSE on Monday. The company scrip touched its 52-week high mark of Rs 2,785 per share on 29 July, 2025. Whereas, the scrip dipped to its 52-week low mark of Rs 1,360.05 apiece on 4 March, 2025. The stock value has decreased around 10.58% year to date (YTD). Whereas, the stock valuation has fell around 35.43% in one year.
The company had reported a marginal decline in its net profit to Rs 92.54 crore, compared to Rs 92.61 crore in the quarter that ended in March 2024. Compared to Q4FY24, when sales were Rs 687.42 crore, sales in the quarter ending in March 2025 increased by 2.69% to Rs 705.90 crore.
