Upcoming Dividend, Stock Splits, Bonus Issues: Shares of Novartis, Hero MotoCorp, Radico Khaitan, Happy Forgings, Pidilite Industries, and other companies will remain in focus next week (from July 21 to July 25) because of corporate actions including dividend, stock split and bonus issue record date.

The Indian stock market remained jittery during the last five trading sessions as the June quarterly earnings season started on a muted note. While the Nifty 50 ended 103 points lower at 24,968.4 points, BSE Sensex concluded the last week's trading session nearly 605 points lower at 81,757.73 points. The investors navigated the result announcement by top conglomerates and IT giants like Tata Consultancy Services, Reliance Industries Limited, Tech Mahindra, etc.

Dividend

Q1 FY26 results will continue to impact the investors sentiment next week from July 21 to July 25. Other than the company earnings multiple other factors will also impact the stock prices like uncertainty around United States tariffs, trade tensions, etc.

"The early trend in Q1 results has been muted, with management commentary reflecting caution amid global uncertainty, which is weighing on market sentiments. Additionally, the prolonged wait for the India-U.S. trade deal ahead of the looming August 1 tariff deadline, is keeping investors on the side lines. We expect market to remain in consolidation mode amid continued global trade uncertainty and a subdued start to the Q1FY26 earnings season," noted Siddhartha Khemka, Head - Research, Wealth Management, Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd.

As investors prepare their stock market strategy for next week, here is the full list of stocks which will trade ex-date next week. A company announces dividend to share a part of its profit among its shareholders as dividend. The firm fixed dividend record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders for the dividend payout.

Similarly, a bonus issue is announced by a firm to allot additional stocks to its existing shareholders. The record date for bonus issue, helps the firm to identify shareholders who will be eligible for the bonus issue. Stock split action leads to the division of existing shares into multiple shares.
