Upcoming Dividends, Stock Splits, Bonus Issues Next Week: Bharat Dynamics, NHPC, RITES, Hero MotoCorp, Page Industries, NMDC, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, Star Cement, etc will remain in focus in the coming week due to corporate actions like bonus, dividend, stock split, etc.

Nifty and Sensex ended with weekly gains after seeing sharp buying due to positive investor sentiment led by a host of factors, including the India-US trade deal, ongoing corporate earnings, etc. Nifty 50 ended with a 3.38% weekly gain at 25,693 points.

Upcoming Stock Split, Bonus Issue

Axita Cotton Ltd has fixed 13 February as the record date for bonus issue in the ratio of 1:10. Delphi World Money Ltd has fixed 14 February as the record date for bonus issue in the ratio of 2:1. The company has also will also determine the eligibility of shareholders for stock split from Rs 10 to Rs 2 on record date 14 February.

Stock Market Outlook

The Indian stock market is likely to remain volatile in the coming week. The technical analysis of Nifty indicates that the benchmark has formed a bullish candle with signs of some buying demand at current levels.

"The index formed a bullish candle in the daily chart with a long lower shadow signaling buying demand at lower levels around the 20 days EMA. We believe dips should be used as a buying opportunity with immediate support placed at 25400-25500 levels being the confluence of the current week breakout area and 20 days EMA. Holding above the support area will keep the overall bias positive and will open upside towards 25,850 and 26,100 levels in the coming weeks," noted Bajaj Broking in its comment.

"Key short-term support is placed around the 25,000-25,200 marks being the confluence of the 200 days EMA and 80% retracement of the current up move. Volatility is likely to remain elevated amid uncertain global cues," the brokerage added.
