Operating a chain of value retail outlets, V-Mart Retail Limited is a significant participant in the Indian retail industry. V-Mart caters to the aspirational middle class in India by providing stylish clothing, footwear, home furnishings, general products, and kirana. Following the company's announcement of the bonus share record date, V-Mart Retail's shares closed Wednesday's trading session on the BSE 0.55% higher at Rs 3409.95, with a market valuation of Rs 6,766.52 Cr.

V-Mart Retail Bonus Shares Record Date
"Pursuant to Regulation 42 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the Board of Directors has fixed Monday, June 23, 2025 as the Record Date for the purpose of determining the equity shareholders of the Company eligible for bonus equity shares of the Company," said V-Mart Retail in a stock exchange filing.
V-Mart Retail Bonus Shares Ratio
On May 2, the company announced that, subject to member approval, it would issue bonus equity shares to eligible equity shareholders as of the record date in the ratio of 3:1, or three new fully paid-up equity shares of Rs. 10 each for every one existing fully paid-up equity share of Rs. 10 each.
On or before June 30, 2025, the said bonus shares would be credited to the eligible shareholders as per V-Mart Retail.
V-Mart Retail Financials
V-Mart Retail recorded a net profit of Rs 19 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2024-2025, while the same quarter of the previous fiscal year showed a net loss of Rs 39 crore. EBITDA climbed from Rs 40 crore in Q4 FY24 to Rs 68 crore in Q4 FY25. The company's revenue also grew dramatically, rising 17% to Rs 780 crore for the March 2025 quarter from Rs 669 crore for the March 2024 quarter. The company disclosed revenue of Rs 3,254 crore for the full financial year ended in March 2025, up 17% year-on-year (YoY), and EBITDA of Rs 377 crore, up 77% YoY, with a net profit of Rs 46 crore for the year. As of March 31, 2025, V-Mart Retail Limited, India's leading value fashion retailer, has 503 stores spread throughout 311 cities in 27 states and Union Territories.
V-Mart Retail Share Price Target
"V-Mart is trading near a resistance zone around ₹3450-₹3500, where selling pressure has emerged in the past. The support lies at ₹3300, followed by a major base near ₹3200. The structure remains sideways, and a breakout above ₹3500 is needed to trigger a fresh rally toward ₹3700. Until then, the trend remains range-bound. Traders can consider watching for a breakout with volume confirmation," commented Riyank Arora - Technical Analyst - Mehta Equities Limited.
