Vikas Lifecare Wins Supply Order of 40000 Gas Meters of Rs 49.5 Cr From Gujarat Gas

Gujarat Gas Limited, the largest city gas distribution company in India, placed orders on Thursday with Vikas Lifecare Limited's material subsidiary, Genesis Gas Solutions (Genesis), for the provision of 40.000 gas meters, valued at a total of INR 495 million. The company Genesis, which develops 'Smart Products' such as Smart Gas Meters & Power Distribution solutions for the infrastructure industry, is 95% owned by Vikas Lifecare Ltd.

With 27 CGD licenses spanning 43 districts in 6 states and 1 union territory, Gujarat Gas Limited (GGL) is the largest City Gas Distribution Company in India. The licenses are located in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, and Madhya Pradesh, as well as the union territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. With more than 16.50 lakh residences, over 13,500 commercial customers, 653 CNG stations, over 4,300 industrial units, and a network of more than 32,000 km of natural gas pipelines, GGL continues to be the industry leader in terms of size.
