Aadhaar has become an integral ID which is in use in India for an array of services such as for applying for an income tax-issued PAN number, to get a government allowed subsidy and file income tax return. And for applying for such a biometric backed ID issued by the UIDAI, you have to have in place both your ID and address proof.

But if you still because of some reason don't have your ID and address proof, you still have two ways to apply for the ID as per the UIDAI and i.e. through some introducer or head of the family.
Through intoducer: This method can also be taken help of for applying for one's aadhaar if one is not possession of one's PoA or PoI and he or she introduces residents of India for the purpose and are notified or authorized by the Registrar. Herein the introducer needs to have his or her aadhaar and has to be physically present for the introduction of such an individual for aadhaar enrolment.
And the introducer is required to give a confirmation of the person's identity and address as well as would need to sign on specific areas in the enrolment form for the individual.
For the same as per the UIDAI, the introducer will need to issue the detail to the person in a standard certificate called 'Certificate for Aadhaar Enrolment/Update'. From the issuance date, the certificate will come with a validity of 3 months.
2. Through the head of the family or HoF: If the person does not has a valid ID or address proof then aadhaar application can still be made if your name is mentioned in the any of the family entitlement proof such as the ration card. And herein the role of head of the family comes into play and he needs to be enrolled with the Aadhaar issuing body and then only he can introduce other members of his family for aadhaar enrolment.
The HoF needs to have his valid ID, address proof and also needs to accompany the member of his family when he visit the aadhaar enrolment centre. Also, proof of relationship between the HoF and the other person who wishes to apply for aadhaar is needed. And the supporting document needs to have the name of both the applicant as well as HoF.
As per the UIDAI, the following documents suffice as proof of relationship:
1. PDS card
2. MNREGA Job Card
3. CGHS/State Government/ECHS/ESIC Medical card
4. Pension Card
5. Army Canteen Card
6. Passport
7. Birth Certificate issued by Registrar of Birth, Municipal Corporation and other notified local government bodies like Taluk, Tehsil etc.
8. Any other Central/State government issued family entitlement document
9. Marriage Certificate issued by the government
10. Address card having name and photo issued by Department of Posts
11. Bhamashah card
12. Discharge card/ slip issued by Government hospitals for birth of a child
