Axis Bank has announced significant revisions to the features and benefits of its Burgundy, Priority, and Delight debit cards, effective May 1, 2024. The alterations encompass a spectrum of facets including airport lounge access, a reward points system (EDGE rewards), BookMyShow offers, and specific features relating to international transactions.
The bank, in an email dispatched to its clientele on March 21, 2024, delineated the forthcoming modifications, aimed at enhancing customer experience while delineating the amendments slated to take effect from the specified date.

Axis Bank BURGUNDY Debit Card
For holders of the Axis Bank Burgundy debit card, several key adjustments have been introduced:
Lounge Access Benefit: Commencing May 1, 2024, complimentary lounge access will be contingent upon a minimum spend threshold of Rs 5,000 over the preceding three calendar months.
Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) Markup Fee: An additional 1% markup fee, along with GST, will be imposed on Dynamic Currency Conversion transactions conducted internationally or with foreign-registered merchants in India.
BookMyShow Offer: Revised regulations for availing BookMyShow offers have been instituted, catering to the evolving needs of cardholders.
EDGE REWARDS Program: Notably, rent and utility services transactions will no longer accrue EDGE REWARD points, with a cap of 2,000 points per month henceforth.
Axis Bank PRIORITY Debit Card
Similar alterations have been effected for Axis Bank Priority debit card holders:
Lounge Access: The criteria for complimentary lounge access mirror those of the Burgundy debit card, with a minimum spend prerequisite of Rs 5,000 over the preceding three months.
Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) Markup Fee: Akin to the Burgundy card, a 1% DCC markup fee, in addition to GST, will be levied on international transactions.
BookMyShow Offer: Adjustments to BookMyShow offers have been enacted, ensuring alignment with the revised terms and conditions.
EDGE REWARDS Program: Transactions pertaining to rent payments and utility services will now be exempted from earning EDGE REWARD points.
Axis Bank DELIGHT Debit Card
For users of the Axis Bank Delight debit card, the following changes have been implemented:
Lounge Access: The requirement for complimentary lounge access mirrors that of the Burgundy and Priority cards.
Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) Markup Fee: Akin to the Burgundy and Priority cards, a 1% DCC markup fee, plus GST, will be imposed on relevant international transactions.
BookMyShow Offer: Like the other cards, the BookMyShow offer framework has been revisited to ensure optimal utility for cardholders.
These revisions reflect Axis Bank's commitment to continually refine and enhance its offerings, catering to the evolving needs and preferences of its diverse clientele. With a keen focus on customer satisfaction and convenience, these changes are poised to enrich the banking experience for Axis Bank debit card users.
