Aditya Birla Sun Life Medium Term Plan is a Medium Duration Debt Fund from the house of Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund. It is 13 years old high-risk Debt fund launched on March 26, 2009. It is an open-ended debt fund.
Under the Direct Plan Growth Option of the fund, its size of assets under management (AUM) is Rs 1415.84 crore. The expense ratio of the fund is 0.87%, which is higher than its category average ratio of 0.7%. Its Net Asset Value (NAV) declared on 08th August 2022 is Rs. 32.6561. Its benchmark is the CRISIL Medium Duration Fund CIII Index.
It has been rated 5-star by Value Research and 2-star by CRISIL, respectively. The fund outperformed the benchmark over the years. On SIP investments, the fund has also performed well and delivered more than 20% absolute returns and near 40% annualised returns in 1 year.
Investment
You can begin investing with a minimum of Rs 1,000 for a lump sum payment and Rs 1000 for SIP investments. The minimum required amount for additional investments is also Rs 1000.
The fund charges 2% for the redemption of units more than 15% of the investments within 365 days of the investment and 1% will be charged for redemption between 366 days to 730 days of investments. There is no lock-in period applicable to this fund.
