Axis Bank, India's third-largest private sector bank, has adjusted its interest rates on fixed deposits of less than Rs. 2 Cr. According to the bank's official website, the new rates are effective as of 26/01/2022. The general public and senior persons will now get the following interest rates on domestic deposits of less than Rs. 2 Cr.

Axis Bank Fixed Deposit Interest Rates For Non-Senior Citizens
On domestic deposits maturing in 7 to 29 days, the general public will now get a 2.50 percent interest rate. The general public will now get a 3.00 percent interest rate on deposits maturing in 30 days to less than 3 months. On term deposits maturing in 3 months to less than 6 months and 6 months to less than 1 year, regular customers will now get interest rates of 3.50 percent and 4.40 percent, respectively. Deposits maturing in one year, one year 5 days, and one year 5 days, one year 11 days will now return 5.10 percent and 5.15 percent respectively.
Deposits maturing in 1 year 11 days to 1 year 25 days will fetch a 5.25 percent interest rate. Term deposits maturing in one year, 25 days to less than 15 months, and 15 months to less than 18 months will now offer 5.15 percent and 5.20 percent interest, respectively. On deposits maturing in 18 months or less than 2 years, 2 years to less than 5 years, and 5 years to 10 years, the general public will now receive interest rates of 5.25 percent, 5.40 percent, and 5.75 percent.

On deposits of less than Rs. 2 Cr maturing in 6 months to 10 years, senior citizens will get the following interest rates effective as of 26th January 2022.
