During Wednesday's trading session, the market experienced selling pressure after the Union Budget 2024 announcement. The day was filled with mixed cues, with sectors like Media, Energy, Steel, IT, Pharma, Infrastructure, and Realty closing on a positive note, while FMCG, Consumer Goods, Private and PSU Banks, and the Financial Sectors ended with a loss. Despite this, Nifty managed to recover in the second half of the session, and with Thursday being the monthly expiry date, it is now near its 20-day EMA, with an immediate support of 24,380.
According to V.L.A. Ambala, a Research Analyst (SEBI Registered), Co-founder - Stock Market Today (SMT), if the current support level gets supported in the next session, prices may sustain above 24,500, otherwise, trading pressure may prevail for at least 2-3 days. Meanwhile, the rupee is trading at an all-time high, which could be detrimental to the Indian economy. This is because while the GDP is experiencing growth, the purchasing power in the global market is declining. Amid these, the prices of food and daily necessities are expected to rise due to inflation and disruptive monsoon.

Market View For 25 July 2024, Thursday
"For the Nifty index, the key support levels for today's trading session will be between 24,350 and 24,120, whereas resistance will likely be between 24,530 and 24,600. On the other hand, the Bank Nifty Index could find key support between levels 51,200 and 50,750, and witness 51,650 and 51,800, acting as their major resistance points," predicted VLA Ambala.
