RBL Bank Revises FD rates, Now Offer Up TO 8.50% To Senior Citizens; Check Rates Here

Private sector lender RBL Bank has recently revised its fixed deposits (FDs) interest rates effective from Thursday, June 01, 2023. RBL Bank offers FDs with a Premature Withdrawal facility and without a Premature Withdrawal facility. Following the revision, the senior citizens can earn up to 8.50 per cent interest on their deposits.

Fixed Deposit - Premature Withdrawal Allowed

RBL Bank is offering 3.50 per cent to 7.80 per cent interest rates to the general public, and 4 per cent to 8.30 per cent interest to senior citizens. The above interest rates are applicable on the deposit period of 7 days to 240 months (including 5 years of Tax Savings FD) below Rs. 2 crore.

Fixed Deposit - Premature Withdrawal Not Allowed

RBL Bank is offering 7.20 per cent to 8 per cent interest rate to regular domestic customers and 7.70 per cent to 8.50 per cent for senior citizens. The above interest rates are applicable on the deposit period of 365 days to 240 months. The deposit amount under this scheme is between Rs. 50 lakhs to below Rs. 2 crore.

According to the RBL Bank's official website, "Senior Citizens (60 years to less than 80 years) are eligible for additional interest rate of 0.50% p.a. and Super Senior Citizens (80 years and above) are eligible for additional interest rate of 0.75% p.a. Senior Citizens/Super Senior Citizens rates are not applicable on Non Resident Fixed Deposits (NRE/NRO)."
