After 32 years, the SBI Large and Midcap Fund, an open-ended equity program that invests in both large and midcap stocks, has reached a significant milestone. Point-to-point CAGR returns of 19.15% in five years, 15.55% in three years, and 11.75% in one year have been provided by this scheme since its inception on February 28, 1993. Nifty Large Midcap TRI, the scheme's benchmark, produced returns of 20.75%, 16.77%, and 11.03% over the same time period. Since the scheme's launch on February 28, 1993, it has produced a 13.33% return. As of February 27, 2025, an investment of Rs. 1 lakh made in one go at the start of the plan would have been worth Rs. 54.84 lakhs. As of January 31, 2025, the scheme's AUM was Rs. 28,681 crores. Saurabh Pant has been managing the fund since September 2016.

About SBI Large & Midcap Fund
The SBI Large & Mid Cap Fund invests in a diversified portfolio that primarily consists of large and mid-cap firms with the goal of producing long-term capital appreciation. The fund has a minimum of 35% of its assets invested in large and mid-cap corporations, with the remaining 30% going towards debt and money market securities or other types of equities. As of January 31, 2025, the fund's expense ratio for the regular plan was 1.61%, while for the direct scheme, it is 0.73%. Financial services, healthcare, information technology, fast-moving consumer goods, automobiles and auto components, and capital goods are the main industries in which SBI Large & Midcap Fund invests. HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries, HDFC Asset Management Company, ICICI Bank, Abbott India, Infosys, SBI, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank, and Muthoot Finance are the top holdings of the SBI Large & Midcap Fund.
