Small Cap Chemicals Stock Fixes Record Date For Dividend As Sept 19, Up 9.07% In 1 Week

Paradeep Phosphates Ltd., a small-cap chemicals company, has fixed the record date as Thursday, Sept 19, 2023, for Re 0.50 per equity share dividend. The Board in a meeting held on May 17, 2023, recommended the said dividend i.e. Re 0.50 per equity share of Rs 10 each for the financial year ended 2022-23. The recommended dividend is subject to approval of the members at the AGM.

"The Company has fixed, Tuesday 19th September, 2023 as the "Record date" for the purpose of determining names of the Members eligible for the dividend. The dividend, if approved by the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the Company will be paid/dispatched within 30 days from the date of AGM," the Board has said.

According to an exchange filing by the Board of Directors of Paradeep Phosphates on May 17, "Recommended a dividend of Re.0.50 per equity share of Rs. 10 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2023, which is subject to approval of the members at the ensuing Annual General Meeting."

Paradeep Phosphates' shares on BSE on Friday closed 0.57% higher at Rs 69.79 per share with highs and lows of Rs 69.70 and Rs 67.16, respectively.

The stock gained 9.07% in 1 week, while 9.28% in 1 month. It gained 31.43% in 3 months and 26.34% in 6 months, respectively. In 1 year, it jumped 28.58%.

The stock recorded its 52-week high on Aug 24, 2023, at Rs 72.90 and 52-week low on Mar 28, 2023, at Rs 48.35. The market cap of the stock is Rs 5,604.59 Crore.
