Tata Digital India Fund
According to data from Morningstar, Tata Digital India fund has given a whopping 5-year returns of 27% on an annualized basis. The fund largely invests in technology stocks and among the big names in its portfolio includes names like Infosys, Tata Consultancy, HCL Technologies, Bharti Airtel and Tech Mahindra among others. The current net asset value of the fund is 33.17, while the fund size is Rs 6371 crores. Starting SIPs in the Tata Digital India Fund is not too difficult and investors can do so for a small sum of Rs 150. In fact, if you are looking to invest in bulk, the amount that you need to invest as minimum is Rs 5000. It is important to remember that the stock holdings are geared towards the tech sector and any drop here, would lead to a sharp fall in the NAV.
ICICI Prudential Technology Fund
Morningstar ranging and data places this among the top funds in terms of 5-year returns, which according to the website is as much as 27% on an annualized basis. Again, the fund has heavily invested in the tech sector as the mandate was to invest in the tech sector. The net asset value of the fund is around the Rs 142 mark. Almost 93% of the funds is invested in equities and the remaining in cash and debt. This is clearly high risk investment because of its exposure to equities, which are skewed to one particular sector only. The minimum amount that you need to start an SIP in ICICI Prudential Technology Fund is Rs 100, with a minimum amount of 6-cheques. Do derive decent returns one needs to invest for the long-term.
Quant Tax Plan
This too according to Morningstar data has provided very good 5-year returns. Almost 97% of the investment in equities, while the remaining is in debt and cash. Among the top holdings in the fund is ITC, Ambuja Cements, State Bank of India, Adani Ports etc. The minimum initial investment required in the fund is Rs 500. Investors, who are long-term investors can opt for investment in this scheme.
