This Small Finance Bank Alters Fixed Deposit Rates, Regular Citizens Can Now Get Up To 6.30%

Capital Small Finance Bank (SFB) has revised its interest rates on domestic term deposits of less than Rs. 2 Cr. According to the official website of the bank, the new rates are effective from today itself i.e. January 05, 2022 and following the revision, non-senior citizens will get an interest rate of 3.35% to 6.30% and senior citizens will get an interest rate of 3.85% to 6.80% on their domestic term deposit of less than Rs. 2 Cr maturing in 15 days to 900 days. The interest rates on NRO and NRE term deposits have also been adjusted by the bank. We'll talk about the bank's current interest rates on various term deposits in this article.

Capital Small Finance Bank Domestic Fixed Deposit Interest Rates For Regular Customers

Following the most recent adjustment made on January 5, 2022, Capital SFB is currently giving a 3.35 percent interest rate on deposits maturing in 15 to 45 days to the general public. Regular citizens will now get 3.85 percent and 4.60 percent interest on domestic term deposits maturing in 46 to 89 days and 90 to 179 days, respectively. Non-senior persons can now earn 5.10 percent on domestic term deposits with maturities ranging from 180 days to less than one year. Deposits maturing in one year and up to ten years will fetch a 6.00 percent interest rate. Capital Small Finance Bank also allows a 'Special Category' of fixed deposits under which regular customers can enjoy unique interest rates of 6.10%, 6.20%, and 6.30% on their deposits maturing in 400 Days, 600 Days and 900 Days.

Senior citizens are also eligible for the 'Special Category' interest rates. On the other hand, senior citizens will continue to get an additional rate of 0.50% on their deposits across all tenors.
