UCO Bank, a public sector lender, has revised interest rates on fixed deposits of less than Rs 2 crore. The new rates go into effect today, May 10th, 2022, and the bank now promises a rate of 2.55 per cent to 6.02 per cent to both normal and senior persons as a result of the modification.

The bank pays 2.55 per cent interest on deposits maturing in 7 to 29 days to both regular and elderly residents. On deposits maturing in 30 - 45 days, UCO Bank is now giving a 2.80 per cent interest rate to both regular and senior citizens, whereas on deposits maturing in 46 - 90 days, both customer categories will receive a 3.55 per cent interest rate. Regular customers and elderly citizens can now get 3.70 per cent and 3.71 per cent on deposits maturing in 91-120 days and 121-180 days, respectively. UCO Bank is currently giving the general public and senior citizens a 4.42 per cent interest rate on deposits maturing in 181 to 364 days.
On deposits maturing in one to two years, UCO Bank gives a standard rate of 5.20 per cent, with senior people receiving a rate of 5.41 percent. Regular customers will now get a 5.33 per cent interest rate on term deposits maturing between two and three years, while senior citizens will receive a 5.55 per cent interest rate. On fixed deposits maturing in above 3 Years and less than 5 Years, UCO Bank will offer a regular rate of 5.70% and senior citizens will get an interest rate of 6.05%, whereas on deposits maturing in 5 years and above both regular customers and senior citizens will receive an interest rate of 6.02%.
