HDFC Cancer Gold Plans
This policy has great variety and benefits. There is a waiver of premium benefit in case of diagnosis of early stage cancer in all options.
In case of no claims, the sum insured increases by 10% annually under Gold Option. There is a lumpsum benefit in case there is detection of cancer at an early stage.
The insurance cost is around Rs 2000-3000 for Rs 10 lakhs of coverage. There is no medicals required.
Aegon Life I Cancer
Aegon Life I Cancer covers every type of cancer, as there are more than 100 types of different cancers around.
If cancer is detected you get 150 per cent of the coverage. In fact, the premium is also waived off under the plan. The policy covers all types of cancer.
Bharti Axa
Bharti Axa's Smart Health Critical Illness covers cancer at various stages and in various forms. You get a coverage of up to Rs 5 lakhs under this plan. The premium is around Rs 3400 for a sum insured for Rs 5 lakhs.
There is no medical required for this policy.
HDFC Cancer Platinum Plans
This plan provides a 1 per cent amount per month of the sum assured per month, which is unique as compared to other providers.
In case of no claims, the sum insured increases by 10% annually under Gold a Option. The premium is not too high and is around Rs 4300 for Rs 10 lakhs coverage.
No medicals are required under this policy.
Max Bupa
You can cancer coverage under the Max Bupa Critical Illness plans. The one good thing if you take this policy is that you are covered for 20 other illnesses as well, including end stage liver disease, bone marrow transplant, heart disease etc.
The cost is around Rs 8500 for Rs 10 lakhs coverage and there are no medicals that are required.
HDFC Ergo Critical insurance
HDFC Ergo covers cancer and 7 other critical illnesses. The premium is around Rs 8624for Rs 10 lakhs. Medicals are not required under the policy.
