PM Kisan 21st Installment 2025: Check When You’ll Receive Rs 2,000 and How to Track Your Payment

Farmers across India are eagerly awaiting the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme this month. The flagship PM Kisan scheme, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, provides financial support to farmers, with a total of Rs 6,000 annually transferred in three installments through Direct Benefit Transfer. As per reports, Over 8.5 crore farmers are expected to benefit in this phase across India.

So far, the government has disbursed 20 installments under the scheme. The 20th installment was released in August 2025, benefiting over 9.8 crore farmers, including 2.4 crore women farmers. This release was slightly delayed from its usual schedule in June. Historically, the 19th installment came in February 2025, the 18th installment in October 2024, and the 17th installment in June 2024.

About PM Kisan Scheme

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) is India's largest Direct Benefit Transfer scheme for farmers. Under the scheme, eligible farmers receive Rs 2,000 every four months, totaling Rs 6,000 per year. The payments are made in three installments: April-July, August-November, and December-March. Funds are transferred directly to beneficiaries' bank accounts, ensuring timely financial assistance for agricultural expenses.The scheme was first announced in the Interim Budget 2019.

When Will the 21st Installment of PM Kisan Be Released?

According to media reports, the 21st PM Kisan installment 2025 is expected in the first half of November 2025, though the official date is yet to be confirmed by the government. Farmers are advised to keep an eye on updates from the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare regarding the exact PM Kisan installment date.
Special Release for Some Farmers

Farmers in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir have already received their Rs. 2,000 installment due to flood and landslide-related relief measures. On October 7, Union Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan transferred the Amount directly to the farmers account.

How to Check PM Kisan 21st Installment Status?

Farmers can check the status of their PM Kisan installment by visiting the official website pmkisan.gov.in and entering their Aadhaar number, bank account details, or mobile number. Beneficiaries will also receive SMS notifications once the funds are credited to their accounts.
