PM Kisan Instalment Date: The Central government's flagship farmer welfare scheme, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) offers financial assistance to farmers every four months. PM Kisan beneficiaries are eagerly waiting for their next instalment.
The Central Government has not yet declared a specific credit date for the 22nd PM Kisan scheme instalment. Hence, the guidance from earlier payments suggests that registered farmers may receive their next instalment in the coming three to four weeks. Here are all the details about the PM Kisan Instalment.

PM Kisan Instalment Date: When Will You Receive Next PM Kisan?
According to media reports, PM Kisan beneficiaries are expected to receive Rs 2000 on their linked bank accounts by the end of February or in March. Goodreturns couldn't independently verify the development. There has been no official information regarding the same.
What is PM Kisan Scheme?
The PM Kisan, which is officially known as Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), offers eligible farmers an annual assistance of Rs 6,000. The amount is received in three parts, ie Rs 2,000 is transferred to their bank accounts via direct benefit transfer in every four months. These direct transfers are meant to support key farm and allied expenses during the year.
PM Kisan 22nd instalment schedule and scheme details
Officials have indicated that the 22nd instalment of PM Kisan is expected between late February and March 2026. The 21st instalment reached accounts in November 2025. Following this pattern of roughly four months, beneficiaries are advised to monitor their records closely during February-March 2026 for the next payment.
PM Kisan instalment payments are expected to be carried out by the end of February or in March. As per experts, payments are usually released in phases. Some farmers may receive the amount earlier than others, depending on bank processing, record verification and completion of requirements such as eKYC and validation of land ownership.
PM Kisan 22nd Instalment Eligibility, Farmer ID and EKYC
The Union government has tightened checks to ensure PM Kisan 22nd instalment benefits reach only eligible farmer families. Some records have been flagged as suspected cases under the exclusion rules stated in the PM-KISAN guidelines. Funds in those cases have been put on temporary hold till field verification is completed by the authorities.
New applicants for PM Kisan in 14 states now need a farmer ID for registration. This requirement applies only where farmer registry work has already started. In other states, where registry creation has not begun, fresh registrations may still be filed without a farmer ID, as earlier, subject to other eligibility conditions.
