The Ministry of Finance has issued an important reminder to all eligible Central Government employees and National Pension System (NPS) subscribers regarding the Unified Pension Scheme (UPS). According to the Ministry, the last date to opt for the UPS is 30 November 2025. The scheme, initially notified earlier this year on 24 January 2025, aims to provide enhanced financial security and flexibility to government employees and retirees.
